Come join us for an evening film screening of the Claude Debussy’s opera Pelléas et Mélisande, directed and designed by brilliant postmodernist Richard Wilson, at the Salzburg Festival in 1997. Wilson reinterprets this turn ­of ­the ­century love triangle with his signature minimalist set design and movement while staying true to the opera’s classical sense, and his production is rich and dreamlike in shifting blues.
