We teach\, dance\, perform and provide live and DJ’d music to venues throughout Maine. Absolute beginners welcome\, no partner needed. \n“Flying Home is Seacoast Maine and Brooklyn\, New York’s premier Benny Goodman Ensemble. An instrumental sextet that also features special guest singers\, Flying Home covers classic repertoire from the BG small ensembles from the Sextet\, Quintet\, Quartet\, and Trio PLUS many big band hits of the 30s and 40s! A dynamic group of top Seacoast and NY players\, the band\, led by drummer John Mettam\, takes listeners and dancers on a musical journey of the classic swing era with all the energy and excitement of a modern live ensemble!”  \n  \nPortland Swing Project hosts swing dances in Congress Square Park every third Friday from May through August. \n  \n \n
