COMMUNITY EVENT PRESENTED BY LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF MAINE
Drop by Congress Square Park on September 17th between 11 and 3 to join our collaborative art project to urge the Senate to “Finish the Job” by passing the For the People Act quickly and to demand that they let nothing, including the filibuster, prevent them from getting the job done. Add your piece to our artboard; we’ll provide the supplies!
About the For the People Act: The For the People Act (S1) would protect our freedom to vote, get big money out of politics, ensure fair districts, and help create a democracy that works for all of us.
