Portland Intown Contra Dance featuring Dugan Murphy with The Riff Raff

In traditional New England social dancing, everyone is welcome and no experience is needed. Every dance is taught and beginners or experienced dancers alike can jump right in during any dance. Come alone or bring a friend!
Tonight, Dugan Murphy will be teaching dances, and The Riff Raff will be playing music. Hailing from here in Portland, Maine, Murphy is a nationally acclaimed contra dance caller, teaching with clarity and joy. The Riff Raff comes mostly from Western Massachusetts, and is comprised of Jesse Ball, Everest Witman, Matt Kenney, and Clara Stickney.
