Portland Intown Contra Dance featuring Shari Shakti with Emily, Glen & Julie

In traditional New England social dancing, everyone is welcome and no experience is needed. Every dance is taught and beginners or experienced dancers alike can jump right in during any dance. Come alone or bring a friend!
Tonight, Shari Shakti will be teaching dances, and Emily, Glen & Julie will be playing music. Shakti’s teaching is joyful and caring. Emily Troll, Glen Loper and Julie Vallimont, all nationally acclaimed folk performers, collaborate this evening to get you dancing!
