Contradance in the Square!

Come join in the dance led by Caller Maggie Robinson and the band Barefoot playing driving fiddle tunes to keep your feet moving. With Ed Howe on 5-string fiddle and Jamie Oshima on mandolin, keyboard, and foot percussion, Maggie Robinson will teach and cue the dances, no experience necessary.

New England Contra Dance features live fiddle music, and has been around for a couple hundred years. It is kept fresh with innovative new tunes and dance moves. You can come with or without a partner, do bring some water and prepare to have fun!
