Community Event: Steel Drum Street Dance

Join Sister Steel Pan Band (Portland) and Planet Pan Band (Blue Hill) for an outdoor dance party in the heart of Portland! We’ll be kicking off the 27th Annual New EnglandSteel Pan Festival held the following day at Thompson’s Point. Come and dance side by side with steel pan players from over twenty different bands around New England as they join together to let loose as audience members for a night! The mix of traditional calypso and familiar pop will be sure to have you dancing and smiling, no matter what age.
