“René Goddess Johnson writes, choreographs, directs, produces and performs her interactive one woman show. She has been developing her original style of interactive theater since 2013 and has combined her passion for experiential learning, her love of storytelling and dynamic dance to create this high-energy show.
She performs in the Northeast region and brings 400 years of South African and North American history to life for audiences by involving them in performances that feature improvisation, dance, music, poetry, group discussion and activities with a great deal of raw emotion, truth bombs, and humor. Her workshops explore a diverse range of subjects from racism in Maine to self expression and identity.”
