The FLUKES

The FLUKES – or the Falmouth Library Ukulele Society – boast a membership of over 35 ukulele musicians. They play everything from Bach to the Beatles and beyond!
During weekly Wednesday night rehearsals, led by their fearless leader, Nina Allen Miller, they’ve built a repertoire from many different musical genres, practicing, playing and most of all having a lot of fun. So far they have triumphantly performed throughout New England, including performances with the Portland Symphony Orchestra at “Magic of Christmas”, the Yarmouth Clam Festival, Denmark Center for the Arts, CascoBay UkeFest, Maine Marathon, Ocean Park “Wednesdays at Jordan” series, First Friday Portland, on the stage of Merrill Auditorium and with Slugger at Portland Sea Dogs games.
