Come draw portraits of your neighbors!
Artist Lucy Walker has invited artists and creative leaders from the community for portrait sessions in Congress Square Park – and you’re invited to draw them! No experience or supplies necessary.
Optional: Bring a board for drawing on if you have one, and any art supplies from home you’d like to play with. (We’ll also have supplies.)
Lucy Walker is a Maine artist and teacher living in Scarborough. She has a BA in Visual Art and English from Bowdoin College and, among other artistic endeavors, currently teaches painting at Muse Paint Bar in Portland. She delights in portraiture and has recently been working on a series of dancers in motion.
Community Drawing Circle is a series! Join us every second and fourth Tuesdays from 9 – 11am in Congress Square Park.
